Il Breitling Navitimer è il cronografo da pilota con regolo calcolatore circolare, lanciato nel 1954. Breitling lo realizzò su richiesta della Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association e fu inizialmente venduto solo ai membri dell'AOPA con il logo AOPA sul quadrante. Il regolo calcolatore si basa su un cronografo con regolo circolare che Breitling brevettò nel 1941. Tra i suoi noti estimatori c'è il musicista Miles Davis. The Navitimer B09 Chronograph Tribute to Miles Davis draws inspiration from the iconic ref. 806 of the 1960s. One of the earliest reverse-panda Navitimers, it stood apart from the chronographs of its era, giving the watch its distinctive look. From the twin-jet logo and historically accurate proportions to the original typography and hand-wound caliber, every detail pays homage to the past, while today’s materials and caliber bring it to the present.
