⌚ Breitling Navitimer: valor i història

El Breitling Navitimer és el cronògraf de pilot amb regla de càlcul circular, llançat el 1954. Breitling el va fer a petició de l'Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association, i al principi només es va vendre als membres de l'AOPA amb el logotip de l'AOPA a l'esfera. La regla de càlcul es basa en un cronògraf amb regla de càlcul circular que Breitling va patentar el 1941. Entre els seus portadors més coneguts hi ha el músic Miles Davis. The Breitling Navitimer B03 Chronograph Rattrapante is a unique take on one of watchmaking’s most elaborate complications: the rattrapante. This function enables to measure two elapsed times simultaneously, with two superimposed central chronograph hands. One of the hands can be stopped to measure an intermediate/split time, an invaluable function for pilots and true to the mission of the iconic Navitimer. With its 18k red gold case and stratos grey dial with contrasted black subdials, it is aesthetically striking and original.
