El Breitling Chronomat es remunta a principis de la dècada de 1940, quan Breitling el va llançar per primera vegada a Suïssa el 1941 i va registrar el nom Chronomat el 1942. El primer Chronomat portava una regla de càlcul circular. El Chronomat actual va sortir el 2009 i va ser el primer rellotge que Breitling va produir íntegrament a casa. Utilitza el calibre B01, que té una reserva de marxa de 70 hores i certificació COSC. El vídeo d'aquest grup presenta el Chronomat B01 42mm amb l'actor Austin Butler. Introduced in 1984, at a time where extra-thin quartz timepieces were the order of the day, Breitling placed a bold bet on an impressively proportioned mechanical watch. Based on the Frecce Tricolori chronograph, which had been developed and launched in 1983 in collaboration with the famed Italian aerial squadron, the Chronomat celebrated Breitling’s centenary in style and marked the return of the mechanical chronograph to its rightfully prominent place at the brand which had built its global reputation on these incredible watches.
